Kargil Vijay Diwas-2017: All you need to know

A quiz competition was conducted at IIBS Airport Campus to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas. The quiz was contested by six teams of three. The teams had to answer four rounds of questions to decide the winner. In conclusion, the event was successful in honoring the heroes of the war and celebrating their bravery and courage.

GST Awareness Program-Corporate Social Responsibility

The student of PGDM-17 of IIBS College, Airport Road Campus has done a great job by actively participating in the “Corporate Social Responsibility” activity. They have done 150 surveys as a whole in the CSR activity on 22nd July, 2017. The students explained the villages about the GST as “One Nation One Tax” done by Modi Government. Some people were aware about GST like the educated young ones and some businessman and some were unaware like the farmers, housewife’s, school students , etc,.
The students shared their own knowledge about GST, like they don’t have to pay tax on tax, rather only tax system for the whole nation.

Money Never Sleeps - An event conducted by IIBS Bangalore

IIBS has been witnessed another finest live stock market event, titled “INVESTO PROGRESS”, with the view of “Money never sleeps”. The event was organized such a way that the students get the best of it. Also, make the students stand out in the investment scenario.

Having organized “Investo Progress”, IIBS gave a platform to the students to understand the current investment strategies as in whole. Giving basic knowledge of the stock market, facilitating the live presentation of working of the investment process, involving students in investment process to experience the stock market, providing awareness of DEMAT account and operations and functions of Securities definitely lead the pupil to carve a niche in the field of stock trading.

Marketing Class: How Best to Effectively Sell your Product?

MANTHAN is about all fun, all joy, and all shimmery skittering energy. The program was organized by students, where they had invested their own money and put up a business unit like- food stalls, game zone, etc. Students were divided into groups and everyone came up with different stalls. All together we had four food stalls- (Food Gallery, Fun & Yummmmm……, Tasty Food Corner, Homemade Food), ffour-gamezones and one handicraft stall, one Mehendi, and Calligraphy stall.

As the students were informed to organize the program in a professional manner, every group distributed themselves into different areas like- Sales, Finance, HR to manage their stalls.

The students were given limited time to do business and earn the profit. The team with more profit was considered the winner. Though there was a lot of difficulties they had to face, yet they earned the profit and conducted a successful program. At the end, they all submitted their presentation and explained their investment and profit.
